Tom has provided financial and insurance services since graduating from the University of South Dakota in 1967. He earned his Chartered Life Underwriter designation and securities license in 1971. In 1983, the South Dakota Association of Life Underwriters named Tom the Life Underwriter of the Year. He earned his Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) designation the same year. Tom is a registered representative with Royal Alliance Associates, Inc. member FINRA/SIPC. He has been a Certified Financial Planner Professional since 1991.
Tom served on the governing boards for a number of organizations including the Mitchell Area Chamber of Commerce, the Presentation Sisters Development Council, and Dakota Wesleyan University. He served as president of the Mitchell Rotary Club, Avera Queen of Peace Hospital Board, Holy Family Parish Council and the Mitchell Area Development Corporation.
